The Challenge
Mindvalley — a global edtech company serving millions of users across 120+ countries — had a scaling problem. Legacy architecture built on PHP and monolithic CMS was slowing down the content team, creating conversion bottlenecks, and making AI feature integration practically impossible without a full re-platform.
The leadership team needed someone who could not just rebuild the frontend, but architect AI-powered features that would directly impact the company's bottom line — without pausing the business to do it.
My Role & Approach
Architect the headless CMS transition — migrate from legacy PHP/Symfony to Storyblok + Next.js, enabling the content team to build and publish pages 50% faster.
Build LLM-powered features — semantic content discovery, AI-assisted course recommendations, and internal tooling that reduced manual work and improved user engagement.
Ship and iterate at pace — work in small batches with Playwright/Jest test coverage, Storybook documentation, and Vercel-backed CI/CD to deploy multiple times per week without breaking production.
Lead the AI roadmap — identify and ship the highest-ROI AI integration points that would have measurable impact on conversion, not just impressive demos.
